Round 1:
Both fighters sizing each other with Donaire throwing and landing more punches. Donaire went off balance once throwing a left. Give this round to Donaire.
Round 2:
Both fighters has become more aggressive especially for Arce who has rarely thrown punches on the first round.
Arce went down nearing the 2 minute mark as he got caught by Donaire's right hand and was given the mandatory standing 8 count.
Round 3.
Arce tried to go after Donaire at the start of the round to recover from his knockdown from the previous round.
Nearing the 30 second mark, Arce was hit again by Donaire's right hook and followed by a flurry of left and right that brought him down. Arce stood and the referee continued the fight.
At the closing seconds Donaire brought him down for good with his powerful left hand.
