This will cover the 500-meter run, 3 kilometers (K) kiddy, 5K, 10K and the half marathon 21K of the Run United series, which kicked off its inaugural race in Davao.
Unilab, in partnership with national organizer Rio Dela Cruz of the Run Rio series, will bring to the city a quality race with modern and highly technical equipment similar to the standards of races in other parts of the country.
This will be the first leg in the Summer Capital after Unilab expanded its presence in other key cities of the country from Mindanao, the Visayas and up north in Luzon.
The Run United Regional Series is the response of RunRio Inc. and Unilab Active Health to the clamor of provincial runners to bring running events to their provinces. Now, they do not have to drive or fly all the way to Manila to participate in Run United.
“Our target for this leg is to have at least 5,000 runners covering all the race events and at the same time we have lowered the registration fee to accommodate more runners,” said Run Rio Management group head Louella May Dela Cruz Magro.
Registration fee for the 500 meters is at P200, P300 for the 3K, P350 for the 5K, P400 for the 10K, and P500 for the 21K.
List up for the event is now ongoing at the TIMEX Store, 2nd floor, Annex-A, SM City Baguio and Baguio Country Mart-3 at #72 Dona Anita Bldg., Session Road.

Besides the online and i-Pad registration, Run United Regional Series participants will also get to try RunRio’s timing chip, which will be used to provide runners or finishers with a summary of their performance including their ranking among others.
The race is seen to be an alternative to those who have been used to running the Milo Marathon provincial elimination series given the tremendous popularity of running.
