World's Largest Ten Commandments now in Baguio City

The city of Baguio unveiled on Oct. 26 the largest tablet containing the Ten Commandments. The tablet, an imposing 152.90 sq.m and the largest in the world according to Guinness World Records, is located on a hill overlooking the northern city resort of Baguio.

Congressman Bernardo Vergara said during the inauguration that "this beautiful and divine edifice will serve to drive away the evils of spirits that time and again emerge. May it drive away evils of illegal drugs, gambling, prostitution."

A religious group donated the tablet to the city of Baguio during the presentation of the certificate from the Guinness World Records. Grace Galindez Gupana, the same religious leader who built a similar fixture with a size of 65 sq. m on 2009 on a hill outside Metro Manila, sponsored said tablet.
