Traffic Advisory for All Saints Day

Baguio City - Due to the expected surge of people, which consequently will worsen traffic conditions along the city's public cemetery, who will be visiting their departed loved ones the Baguio City Police Office in cooperation with the Oplan Kaluluwa Task Force will be implementing some changes to traffic at Naguilian Road and other roads going to the cemetery.

It is expected that the public will be guided accordingly to the following changes starting 5a.m. of Nov. 1 until traffic goes back to normal in the area.


One way:
  1. Naguilian Road, from the junction of Bokawkan Road up to Dominican Road; 
  2. Dominican Road, from the junction of Naguilian Road up to Queen of Apostles Road; 
  3. Whole stretch of San Roque Road; 
  4. Whole stretch of San Luis Road; 
  5. Whole stretch of Sofia De Vera St.; 
  6. First Road Quezon Hill, from the junction of Naguilian Road up to Ponce St.; 
  7. Second Road Quezon Hill, from the junction of Naguilian Road up to Sofia De Vera and  Ponce St.
No parking:
No parking on both side of the road is allowed during this time at the following:
  1. Inside Baguio Cemetery; 
  2. Naguilian Road, from the junction of Bokawkan Road up to First Road San Carlos Heights;
  3. The whole stretch of San Roque Road;
  4. San Luis Road, from the junction of Naguilian Road up to San Roque Road;
  5. Dominican Road, from the junction of Naguilian Road up to Queen of Angels St.;
  6. The whole stretch of Queen of Peace Road;
  7. The whole stretch of Queen of Apostles Road;
  8. Whole stretch of Sofia De Veyra St.
Recommended Parking Areas:
  1. Pay parking area inside Cooyesan Plaza;
  2. Inside Shangrila Subdivision;
  3. Inside Recoletos compound;
  4. Naguilian Road after Baguio Memorial Cemetery Gate and before the main gate of Bermuda Subdivision, left side descending, parallel parking for light vehicles;
  5. The whole stretch of Ponce St. along Quezon Hill
All private vehicles, except trucks and buses are allowed to pass through Naguilian Road, motorists coming from the direction of the central business district areas intending to load or unload passengers at Baguio Cemetery may do so but have to turn towards First Road, San Carlos Heights before proceeding to the designated parking area at Recoletos Seminary. Those intending to park at the Cooyesan pay parking area will have to take the alternate route from San Carlos Heights to Quezon Hill. In going back to CBD, they shall exit through Dominican Road towards Queen of Peace Road or Rock Quarry Road to destination.

Taxicabs  delivering passengers to the Baguio cemetery  shall load or unload at the back of Station 1 (in front of Recoletos Seminary) and shall take San Luis/San Roque Road as exit route, turn right at Dominican Road towards Queen of Peace and Lourdes Road in going back to CBD.
