WITH the theme “Sustaining the Flame of the SLU Boys Brotherhood Through the Years”, the host batches 1962 and 1987 of the Saint Louis University (SLU) Boys High Alumni Foundation are gearing up their preparations for the 2012 Grand Alumni Homecoming.
This was jointly announced by the team leaders of the two batches, lawyer Danilo Bolislis of batch 1962 and Paul Agustin of batch 1987.

The homecoming event is scheduled on January 13 and 14, 2012 in two major venues: the Gonzaga Building (old Boys High building) along General Luna and at the Camp John Hay Suites.
The event will be hosted by batches 1962 and 1987 who are celebrating their 50th and 25th anniversary, respectively.
As host batches have prepared series of activities which kicked of last February by participating is the Session Road in Bloom during the Panagbenga event, also the ongoing Boys High Cup basketball tournament which is on its 3rd Conference, medical missions, blood donations, relief operations during typhoons, and the heart-warming Lingap Foundation outreach mission.
The January 13 activities include registration of delegates; agape foods and drinks; bonfire program all designed to bring back fond memories of the yesteryears and an opportunity to meet new friends and acquaintances.
On January 14, there will be a motorcade around the main thoroughfares of the city with the Baguio Convention Center as the starting point. This will be followed by a Concelebrated Mass to be officiated by alumnus Bishop Carlito Cenzon together with some alumni priests.
Following the mass is the formal assembly to ratify the amendments to the Constitution and the election of the new set of the Foundation’s board of directors and officers.
The formal induction of the newly elected officers will be held at the Camp John Hay Suites where awards and recognition to outstanding alumni will be given by the host batches.
